I found baby 1 inch blue hippos for 14.50 is it worth a shot? if i get some any tips to keep the ich away?

At that tiny size, the mortality rates are very high. Personally, I'd wait for a larger, more robust specimen.

Ok so i guess my next question is do they breed them or just catch them small?
If they dont have a chance why would they even try selling them so small?

You're probably going to hate my answer, but the life cycle of the parasite is as long as 39 days.
To be totally safe...40 days.
