A waste by product to pour down the drain or an excellent and tasty replacement to all other cooking oils?

I cook in cast iron skillets. Nothing is better than bacon grease. It's all I use for oil in frying.

I will cook other breakfast items in it, but that's about it. I recently discovered that the Walmart brand bacon is actually pretty good. Its the only Walmart brand food item I will put in my mouth.

we used to use it for everything but not anymore we both have high cholesterol and blood pressure so its alot of turkey instead of red meat. chicken and we only use EVOO as Rachel Ray would say.
I loved hash browns and eggs fried in before and of course gravy yummm I miss the good loe fashion southern cooking. ;-Þ

Truth be told I prefer sausage grease. Nothing like sausage gravy over biscuits. After 17 years my wife still hasn't gotten the hang of that black pepper as a food group thing though.
