I have had a male banggai cardinal since I started my tank, his partner died a few years ago. So finally I buy three new ones. I have them in a 15 gallon QT along with 12 peppermint shrimp. I notice two out of the three are kind of hiding. THe next day one is on it's side dying. The thrid one the next day is looking real bad, then I start watching the remaining two, the other one was actually clamping down on it. So I immediatley set up a 3 gallon tank for the one being picked on. With a HOB filter I always have running on my reef, for these types of emergencies. Today the beat up one is back to normal. So does this mean that all three were males Bang Guy).
