baserock

I have some old liverock from someone that had a saltwater a few years back, It is dead though. He said he just threw it outside. One of the pieces is a real nice looking piece that would serve as a good base. Is it ok to use this as baserock??? Thanks for any advice.

first off, welcome to SWF 2nd...of course you can.....I would just rinse it off really good first

thanks. I was actually a member back in 07 and had a tank then. Had to move and sell everything. As much as i loved it I had too much going on to set up another one. Well now Im back and ready to start new. But thanks for the input. I wasnt sure if it would be bad or not.
