Ok guys here is your spot to lay it on me.Sat what you want about how I dont know what I am talking about or how I have a bad attitude or how I havent been able to succesfully keep over 10 big and agressive fish in a 75 gallon tank or how I need to see a doctor or whatever you people want to bash me for....I'll post some pics as soon as I get the camera equipment sent back from Jersey where it was left over the holidays of my 75 reef and all you experst can have you bash session on what I am doing wrong......I just cant stand all the bad info yall are spreading around here.You guys are so scared to try something new.You just do what the EXPERTS have been saying for years and thats it.Bash away.

Dear Boat Racer,
Nobody knows you or cares about your fish. Sorry to burst your bubble but your personal issues are not important enough for us to care about. Furthermore, if you cram a bunch of fish in your tank then you are the one who ultimately pays the price... don't bother us about it.

Not scared.. we just respect the life of our pets and try to provide them a good home.
And yes, we try to listen to the experts. They've studied this and know what they are talking about, unlike you it would seem.

Ok so you both get the

award.I have had ten fish in a 75 angles,tangs,grouper,triggers etc..What part of this system failed.Please tell me.I must have been dreaming.Three years and they all lived. and went through the full change from juvy to adult(angles) that is and would eat from my hands and they never fought with eachother.You guys havent a clue what your talking about on here.Oh ya somebody writes a book and that makes them experts.Well these so called experts tried to preach about crushed coral and undergravel filters as the only succesfull way to filter not so long ago_Oh and they are the same ones that preached Oh wait I meen wrote books about how great bio balls are for reefs.Only the best keepers these days use nothing in the sump for Bio filtration but a big skimmer.You will probably tell me I am wrong about that too.I have bent the rules many times and havent had the problems that you guys sware by.Some day you guys here on this site will advance your topics a bit instead of the same old thing and thats BASIC SALT WATER AQUARIA.Yall can type your little keyboard comando replys all you want I wont be logging on this beginner site again after this post.Goodbye and happy lame tanking to all.

Not that im an english teacher nor do i spell all that well but if im not mistaken learn how to spell angels!. Besides the point you are the one who ultimately loses in this picture i feel sorry for your fish.

It seems that you were asking for trouble from the get go on this thread. You knew what the replys would be.
BUT, you say what works for you is great. But we are concerned for fish in this hobby and not ourselves and what we want. I want many fish, but can't. Its a known fact that each fish has their own requirements for their SAFE keeping. If you decide to disregard that, then you shouldn't be here looking for info on their safe keeping. Just keep doing what you are doing, but don't expect the Welcome Wagon from anyone.

Well its like I said over in the aggressives. Anybody that has to come to a fish forum and brag about their car/truck/boat in the first couple of posts has LOOK AT ME issues. I just hope old boat racer gets some help. Its sad that a 37 year old acts so childish to try and get some atention.

did we drive away... what's this guy's name again. The week that racecar driver or whatever was a member was the most glorious in the history of swf.com. well i have to get in on this one, the majority of you guys said my fish were gona die, but they are all doing better than ever, i read a paper(dont know the author) but about 25 to 30 years ago it was unheard of to even have a saltwater tank under 100 gallons and what has become the new craze yes nano tanks, it is possible now to have a 1 gallon mini reef, the point is, is that it is ok to try new things and not always be stoped by the so called experts, i stand side by side with boatracer by the fact that most people feed false information, i was reading a thread where one guy not going to say there swf name but he said that it was not possible to keep a niger trigger in less than a 125 gallon tank, false statements like that make me sick

Puffer... you're taking things out of context...
"Experimenting" kills things... Boatracer failed to mention that.. he also failed to mention how many dozens of fish he killed before he got the current crew in his current aquarium.
Nano tanks only work with steady water quality... better tests and filtration methods have advanced this practice.... not "experimenting".
Facts are facts... Nigers often pick at Lion fins, aggressive eaters produce a lot of waste, ect. No amount of experimenting can change that. To "experiment" is to basically say "I don't care what the experts say, I'm gonna risk killing my fish to get what I want".
Now Puffer, as to your tank, let's just let that rest. You started off saying some things about your tank that weren't true... let's just move beyond that. Boatracer was just posting here to cause grief.... he's the one that was spreading false information.
EDIT: In a related story, my original post was quite tame. Looks like Boatracer just was looking for a dramatic exit... no reason why he went off the way he did...
