Sorry dustin.
What is it you want in your tank? After all, your the one who is going to to be looking at it more so than us. What do you like?

IMO since your tank is really small and you are limited and you're already looking at getting clowns, I would get some really cool snowflake clowns. pricey, but unique and a pair would look really cool in a 10gal. best of luck

Dustin, if you would just do a little research first you would see what a fuzzy chiton is, they are amazing cleaners.
And chill dude, we like to have fun around here.

LOL...Meowzer IS a moderator! Besides it takes more than ta little joke and someone to not like it to close a thread.
Here is a fantastic book for you to get, it will help you decide the best critters for your tank...it will also help you sound smart if someone asks a question about tank size or fish size. Be sure to let folks know it came from something you read, or they will call you on it. First hand experiance is always the best, but sometimes you might just want to help out.

A page to show you the info it has for you

Another super great book to have

And another sample page

Reefcleaners.org got back to me today, Here is what they recommended for my 30 Gallon:
20 Dwarf Ceriths - small effective cleaners
9 Nassarius
9 Florida Ceriths
6 Assorted Hermits
2 Chitons and 3 Limpets
3 Large Nerite and 3 Small to medium Nerites
Opinions? Recommendations?

56 for a 30 gallon, yep too much, about half that is right. I have zero luck with ceriths, so I don't use them. I don't use crabs cause they kill snails. I'd go with like 30 snails.

I'm sure John knows his stuff at reefcleaners but you can always add more in the future if you find 1/2 of an order isn't keeping up.
He recommended 130+ snails for my 90 gallon but I went with about 55 for now. Especially for new tanks...gotta make sure there's enough stuff for all of them to eat!
I also strayed away from hermits as I have heard a lot of negatives with them (eating snails, nipping corals, etc.) and not many positives!

Yeah. I'm thinking one per gallon.

If not ceriths, what do you recommend? I'm trying to become more versed in my snail options. I do like crabs, but if they tend to be more of a hassle I can live without them or maybe find some that aren't as aggressive (if they exist) .
