Well I think the next step is to have your tap tested, and also your tank for metals
Some water places will test your tap for free (I think)
OH....I would not listen to any of those lfs....especially the 10g w/c a week one LOL

Yeah i'll have to find place to have that done. When the one fish store told me about the w/c a week. I looked at him like he was crazy. I asked him "Don't you think that is a bit much for a w/c?" He just kept going on. So i've been reading up on here and in the saltwater for dummies book. lol

10 gallon w/c on a 90 gallon now that would make more sense then on a 29 :) So today I went and purchase R/O water and did a little over a 50 percent w/c. I also added a bag of live sand. I hopefully once things settle and I get my salinity back up I can start adding some fish..

I am not 100 percent but you might get a mini cycle by doing that. You may need to wait sometime before adding fish. Maybe some with more knowledge can chime in...

yes the R/O is R/O DI. yeah my water is sure cloudy. lol I added a power head that is 170 GPH today and took out my air stone. I was wondering if 10,000K light be ok if I just plan on having fish?
