how about a hi-fin red banded goby?
they get to only about 2"
they look so cute when hiding, with only their yellow heads sticking out. and once they see any food floating by, they quickly get to it. it is peaceful. may even let other gobies hide in his burrow. may also form mutualism with a piston shrimp.

I would like to get a couple of neon gobys, but I have firefish. My fish book says that firefish are predators. Does that mean that my shy firefish will try to eat a neon goby if I put them together in my 55gal?
