Best kind of Salt Mix??

I was wondering which kind of Salt everyone uses/recommends for their own tanks. I'm currently using Oceanic: Natural sea salt mix. I have heard that Reef Crystals and Instant Ocean are pretty good. What is the difference if any?

I use Tropic Marin Pro. I switched from Red Sea about 2 months ago. My corals look much better with the TM Pro.

if you switch from Instant Ocean like i did youll notice the difference the first time you mix it up.

this is umthing that has been discussed waaaay too many times..tropic marin is probably the best..but sum who use a different brand may claim theirs is the best..its kindof just a matter or what u require in calcium lvls etc and how much ur willing to spend on salt..

I haven't seen a difference in my water being clearer or having phosphates with either of the salt mixes i've used.

I've never had those problems with IO. And I'd kind of like the person who made the claim to tell me what he thinks the difference is.

i use tropic marin pro reef...i started the hobby using instant ocean and was amazed at the improvement once i switched to pro reef...stuff that never grew started growing like crazy....its supposed to be broken down somehow which is easier for corals and such to digest...don't mark my word on that terminology...haha

I also started out using Instant Ocean, but when I did my first calcium test it was at 280. I switched to Oceanic and after a few water changes I began to see my calcium climb, and I've been able to maintain at 420...I'll stick with the Oceanic for my reef.
