Best way to clean up after a saltwater spill?

I have mine on a float valve now. Long as I keep the thing clean, I shouldn't have any problems. It's on a 5g tote. I shouldn't have to worry about the sump overflowing if there is a malfunction.
Cant wait to get the tank on the new stand. It's going to make it all do much nicer. I won't have to worry about spills either with the new algae scrubber.
