best way to get fish out

I have a naso tang that I need to remove from the tank. Think it will be ok to dran the enough water and scoop him out?

Thanks bang. I do not want to kill any of my rock or xneia or suff like that. os it will be ok to be exposed for lets say 1/2 hour?

The only issue I'd be concerned about is killing off some sponge and causing a cycle. The corals can be exposed for quite a while.

I agree, large sponges need to be kept submerged but most corals do for out of water for several hours as long as they are kept warm.
Don't forget about glass or Boron heaters, they cannot be on while dry.
