Bicolor Blenny stressed

Hello,
Today I bought a bicolor blenny from my LFS, I spent roughly and hour and a half acclimating him to the tank, both the temp and the water via drip. And as for the tank stats I had the water tested and I believe that all my numbers were near perfect. Earlier in the day he was attacked by one of my four damsels after a territory dispute, at that point in time he found a hole where he has been for several hours now. I returned the 4 damsels to the LFS, went to a movie and when I returned he is covered in white spots.
My question is primarily what should I do with my blenny, he is the only fish in the tank right now, I turned off all lights, and am trying to leave the tank alone so he will ideally calm down.
Once again thank you for any help,
Spencer

Welcome to the boards
Excellent choice on returning your evil DAMsel fish! They're little monsters
White spots or streaks? My Tail Spot and Black Combtooth both have white streaks when stressed, but also after the lights go out.
He probably just needs to acclimate to his new surroundings still. I'd leave the lights off tomorrow and just let him find his place. If you don't want to leave them off all day, try just on for the latter half of the day. Between the stress of being added to a new tank, being attacked by the damsel, and the you trying to catch the damsels, he's probably just been through a lot for one day.
Did you see him eat at the LFS? Have you seen him eat in your tank (have you even attempted)? Tomorrow mid-day try to feed a little and see if he comes out. He just needs to feel out his new home.
Also, get a test kit and start testing your own water, the process of taking water to the LFS can actually alter your readings. Everyone in this hobby should have a test kit of their own

thank you for the quick reply, I've been lurking here for a while and never posted. I plan on getting a test kit tomorrow just to be safe, the zoo colony I have is thriving which is a good sign I hope. As for the blenny should I be concerned about him dying over night from increased stress, I have all the lights off in the room just to be extra sure. and I have tried feeding but it was when the damsels were in the tank and when he went for food they charged him.

He seems to be doing much better this morning, hes been swimming around a bit, he ate when I fed the tank so I hope hes going to thrive. Here are some pics I was able to get this morning, the little guy runs off if I get near the tank.

The blenny is now taking refuge under the zoo frags base and the cleaner shrimp is incredibly persistent when it comes to cleaning the blenny. Its pretty funny to watch the shrimp and the new guy as the shrimp trys to clean him.
