big fragging day

I am going to frag up a ton of stuff to put in my frag tank today. also going to move some of the LR out of my DT to open up the aquascaping a bit. this is going to take most of the day. I just want to gauge interest. who wants to see pics as I go through this process? I am going to shoot a vid or too as well for my fragging threads.

honestly I expected more dont bothers, just because I have done so many frag threads already. and this one isnt realy going to be that educational except maybe the vids (or questions answered). this is mainly going to be a plethora of fragging pics as I snap them at random.

I have ahd wayyyyyyyyyyy to much coffee today my hands are so jittery only about half my pics are any good. as you can see (I didnt even bother to post the worst ones.... )

Very cool I voted pics and vids... I am curious to see how you frag the zoa's. I know they are pretty tolerable to abuse but getting them off the LR do you try to lift their mat up and cut between the polyps? or can you snip them off at the base of the polyp and let another grow back?

I either break the rock (with cutters, hammer chisel, etcetera) or lift the mat and cut between them. breaking the rock has the fastest recovery time because very little damage is done to the polyps. lifting the matt has a slightly longer recovery time as you may slightly damage the mat when lifting but this is usually not much longer. I never cut the heads off as it always IME kills the zoa.

this is an LPS that I have never fragged before, so its kind of an expiriment. heck I dont even know exactly what it is. oh well. frag it anyways.

I finnally finished moving stuff around in the tank once it clears up I'll post some pictures. there is more stuff to be fragged up. but i got interrupted by unexpected guests......

soon i am going to have to dig out the show rock I have been growing for a while and sell it off. (I just call it a show rock its nothing spectacular, just a bunch of different corals on one BIG rock). but its good for big tanks.
