Black Dogface- White Stringy Material coming out of mouth.

Well thanx again Lion, my tank is back up to par right now ,thanx to you. I tested the water after the TURBO START, and the reading were fine. I still got that problem with that Black Puffer not eating. I am about to give up, I don't know what else to do.

What are you feeding now? Have you tried the live foods I mentioned?

I tried the live ghost shimp and black worms, but no luck

Hi. Sorry for the late reply. My nitrate reading is 1.0 I checked it a couple of times, and I was shocked to see it so low. Also I caught my grey puffer taking nips at the black one, when the light is off. Leaving him with with scars all over his body. So I am thinking that the grey puffer, stressed the black one out,causing hom not to eat. So... should I get rid of the grey one-?

Well that will definitely stress the black puffer out. This is why I don't ever recommend mixing two large puffers.

Hey Lion ! Can you believe that the Black Puffer got that stringy material coming out of his mouth again. I can't believe this, his mouth is closed shut again. I checked my reading and they are all fine. I am thinking of taking him back to the LFS.

I probably would remove one. The black puffer sounds very stressed.
