I always find it interesting that people go nuts over Black & White Percs since most of us got into the hobby for the incredible range of colors.
That being said, I love my (mostly) Black Perc:

Hey Bang guy is tha another pic of ur Green hairy mushrooms. those look tempting to get for my Black percs (Saddle Back) clown. Or do u think they wont take to it cause they hang around the bubble coral more and i notice them every once and a while trying to lay in it.

The "black percs" that lfs sell for relatively cheap are in fact amphiprion polymnus, aka the saddleback clown, just a black morph. That is what is in the pic too, its mis-identified, its really a black polymnus too. There isn't such a thing as a real "black amphiprion percula" but the ones that are sold to be, are a black variant of amphiprion ocellaris. Common names can be real confusing like that.

Wow you guys are lucky. Our black percs are tank raised and 70 dollars each. Ours are strictly black and white with only a little red at the head. I would love a pair if they werent so expensive. Maybe my discount can cover it :)

yeah my LFS has crap for fish.......they get shipments in every 3 months because of our location.......heatland america ya know.........so seeing black percs is unreal to me
