a 125 will get small quick for any stingray,, they do knock alot fo corals over since they freely swim everywhere,, you need alot of open swimmign area for a ray with not that much live rock, they also need a large open area( or a few) to bury themseleves. If you have very fine sand yeas theydo make amess of everythign but too course is not good for them either..
ALSO the blue dot, although beutiful, has an extremely poor survival rate int he home aquarium , only lasting about 4-6 months MAX. IMO a species better left in the ocean since noone can keep them alive for long! this is because theyw ont eat or if theyd o start eating they will stop eventually. as far as inverts my two cali rays leave everythign alone
but their is a difference.. the bluespotted stingray is very hardy and does great in aquariums but needs a least a 300 gallon tank,,
whereas the bluespot ribbontail ray( which is always found in the aquarium trade) as stated above is a poor choice!
you can tell the difference int he two rather easily if you just look at pictures of both of them
hope i helped!
