Blue Velvet Nudibranch

I saw a someone posted a picture of a Blue Velvet Nudibranch here with some questions. I can't seem to find the post but I do remember that person getting information that it only eats a certain type of sponge. I did find some info on a site that is selling that exact specimen and it does say that it eats flatworms and it needs a steady diet of flatworms to survive. So the person that needs this info I hope this helps.

Blue Velvet Nudibranch only eat Convotriloba Flatworms. I believe the poster you are referring to was wanting info on a different species of Nudibranch.

i had my LFS sell me one with the impression it eats algae well it ended up not eating and dying within a couple weeks...
i hate when things are sold with a misconception just so they can sell it!

Just trying to help. I also hate when people are sold things with little or no info. I feel that in the SWF trade there is a lot of "hey he will be fine" or "that's a very easy species to maintain". I don't believe that we would ever see someone do the some things with dogs, cats or any other animals.
Sorry to here that your little guy starved to death.
