Boiling a Catalina Goby?

I just read a write-up that said a Catalina Goby, is naturally in cool waters, it said 72 deg. f.
My tank is normally at 80 degrees, the goby is extremely healthy and active. Anyone think that this could pose a long term health issue? Should I move the little guy into a cooler temp. nano?
When I picked him up, the write-ups in books I found didn't mention the cooler temp.

If it were mine I would just keep an eye on it and see how it does IMO sometimes fish can adjust to different water temps with no ill affects. Did you get it at the lfs and what was the temp of their tank?

What books are those? I wouldn't trust an info from them if they didn't mention that Catalina Goby's cooler water fish.

I picked the little guy up at the lfs, and he was in 2 gallon counter top nano. I slowly acclimated him, and at the time, didn't have metal halides over my tank so my temp was down a bit. He's doing great though, eats frozen and pods from what I've seen.
I believe the book I looked him up in at first was a Julian Sprung book. I'll double check when I get home.

I have tried a couple of them and never had any luck. I keep my reef between 74 and 77 and they still do not seem to do well so I would say that 80 is way to warm.

Looks like I'll set up a nano, quicker than I thought. Thanks for the help.
