Hounding has nothing to do with it. Bonds has been a jerk since looooooonnnnngggggg before he got anywhere near Aaron's record. There's a reason he has very few endorsement deals. Most fans just plain don't like him. Nor many of his team mates, which is probably more damning.

Really, get your head out of the sand and face facts. Who cares what the feds can or can't prove. Bond's used steroids and that is a FACT. He admitted it himself under oath. There is no question wether he used the cream and clear. He did and has admitted it. The only question is wether he KNEW they were steroids when he took them. Anyone with knowledge about the subject or intelligence in general knows the answer to that question as well
He's a cheat and a genuine bad guy all around. History will not be kind to him and HOPEFULLY his record will fall very soon to A-rod.

i am a giants fan from way back probably before you were a twinkle in your daddy's eyes so don't go telling me or any other giant fan for that matter who they can be a fan of if he used so what that remains to be proven nobody is jumpin on michael irvin going into the hall, he has not been charged so what your opinion is is just that an opinion and nothing else and i'm sure you have lead the perfect life jerk...tobin

george foreman got better with age?? no. when he came into professional boxing, he was the most feared and probably THE BEST fighter on earth. he got sucked into Ali's "rope a dope" and lost very unexpectedly. this sent him into a downward sprial, pretty much a mental breakdown. I don't think he fought for a good long while after that fight. he came back and DID have good success, but no, he was NEVER as good as he was in the beginning. though Ali obviously made him a lot wiser.

he set a record for dirty players. the legitimate record by a legitimately clean player is still held by Hank Aaron and it probably won't be broken for 6-8 when Arod finally breaks it.
