those are redundant questions, and the giants are known for having an expierienced roster since way back and bonds sells seats he makes the giants more than he cost them so get your facts straight and come back with some intelligent statements instead of how many games bonds cost them, how about how many he won for them at least that can be proven...tobin

I grew up in the Bay Area, went to the fourth game of the '89 World Series at Candlestick, and I can't stand Bonds.

Who cares when he cheated to do it. And it's not just the cheating. Ballparks are smaller, pitchers aren't nearly as good, and the rules favor offense. The whole thing is watered down.

Were you there with the needle?
I could reason that Hank Aaron smoked pot or snorted coke, because it was the seventies and everybody used recreational drugs and that he did it to relax.

Aaron never admitted that he used drugs, Bonds has. He admitted that he used the cream and the clear but that he didn't know they were steroids.
Likely, hmmm, i can just see Bond's back then thinking..... what is this stuff i'm dripping under my tongue every day before working out and why are my pecs and cranium getting so huge at age 37, weird?????

Sure reason that. But its the fact that 80% of people who know who Bonds is believe he did them. And its true. Look at the facts. HIS trainer gave them to Gary but thats not suspisous at all.
Hank did them for 3 months when he was 17 playing football. He saw what they do and stopped.

What a weird coincidence that Bond's just happened to hire a personal trainer and demand, against team objections i might add, that this same personal trainer be with him at all workouts. Then, lo and behold, this trainer ends up being the biggest distributor of synthetic, undetectable steroids in American History

What terrible luck for Barry! And at the same time, while HIS personal trainer is distributing steroids to every other athlete he knows, Barry doubles his muscle mass and hat size at age 35

Yeah, it's the media just out to get him

i personally don't care if he used them or not that is his business at the time they were not illegal in baseball so who cares i'm sure lance armstrong used steroids in his life too as he went through cancer and that is part of the chemo so are his records tarnished every body builder out there has probably used them at one time or another so do we let this trivial matter ruin sports, every athlete is looking for that edge to be best if you think not i do not know what to tell you, if there is an asterisk they will need to pull a dirty test now or in the future to justify it...tobin

Devils advocate rant on:
Would you care to quote each and every person of that 80% of the people who claim to know him and "believe he did 'em".
Proof point...Nobody likes a winner.

The government uses performance enhancing drugs everyday...they are called "Go

" to keep people up and moving for insane amounts of time in combat. I'll assume thats OK though.

No. I dont mind someone breaking the record. I dont care if A-rod beats it. I just dont like Barry. Look at his trainer, its not a rumor its a fact. He admitted to doing so and said he didnt know what they were. COME ON!!!!!!!!! BS Thats like saying you do weed but thought it was a cigarette. And he isnt much of a winner. At least a true one.

if they were illegal in LIFE, they don't have to be illegal in BASEBALL. illegal is illegal. if Armstrong used them in cancer treatment, I would assume they were prescribed by doctor, which would make that NOT illegal.
if every player is "looking for that edge", then how come Bonds is the ONLY player that has mysteriously gotten BETTER in old age as opposed to young age?

I didnt say anything about that being ok. So dont bring up random things. Stay on topic. These "go

[hr]
" can be found at stores. They are LEGAL! And arnt used to hit homeruns.

are these

legal and sanctioned by the employer? if so, then there's nothing wrong with it.
Growth Hormone, is a controlled substance. uncontrolled use of it is a CRIME, so it does not matter one iota whether or not baseball cared, but the LAW cared enough to make it illegal in the first place.
if you think there's nothing wrong with a criminal being praised as a hero, then that's a reflection on your own low morals and I can't really expect to change that.

Wow. Just wow.
For one thing, there's not an ounce of suspicion that Aaron ever used drugs. For another, and more importantly, I don't think pot or coke can help you hit a baseball. What a stupid, juvenile argument.
