1. check your water parameters

3. Lighting schedule?
4. Tank occupants?
5. Flow?
6. Filtration?
7. Get a sea hare (although all mine have died :( )
8. Lawnmower Blennie (mine is fat...I still have HA :(
9. I am sure there is something else
AND FINALLY
I think I am going to try the magnesium trick.....supposedly..(I have only read this) if you raise your mag slowly.....the HA will die

try raising the mg man! itll thin it out and itll slowly die away. if the emerald is eating your softies, trade him in for another one hoping that its less aggressive

mg?
Magesium.....I started to do that, but decided I had too much invested in inverts...everyone was telling me higher mag would kill the inverts...so I stopped
I just put chemi-pure elite in yesterday, and with w/c's and manual removal, a seahare, turbos, emerald crabs, sally lightfoots, lettuce nudibranch....I have finally made big progress....

Got a bit to go.....but more than 50% is gone

How wierd....I have about 8 emeralds...they never touch any shrooms or corals....maybe yours is hungry

turbo snails are good algae eaters

raising the mg is not a problem at all as long as you raise it very slowly. it will help thin it out and eventually kill it. the CUC will help but you gotta get to the root of your problem also. whats causing GHA to grow and thrive? do you rinse your food? are you using ro/di water?

i dont rinse my food i also dont over feed, feeding my fish every other day.. and i do use ro/di water to top off my tank....
