*BREAKING NEWS* - Obama behind end of Packers @ Seahawks game last night!

Ok, so he had nothing to do with it. But come on, how bad was that call? I think the Packers did a pretty good job of keeping their composure, cause I would have been so jacked up that I probably would have decapitated that ref. Absolutely inexcusable.

So which part of the play do you think was the bad call, not flagging the blatant pass interference or the call on the spontaneous possession?
And NEVER discount the ability of politicians to inflict themselves on our sports. Do you know why networks can televise sold out home games?

LOL.....I think we should start the season over with the REAL refs
Seriously though.....where do these replacements come from? Do they not have to have any training?????

Well, the offensive pass interference was the most blatant, but that's a call that 95% of the time doesn't get made. However, in that instance, it was SO obvious he pushed off. Two hands, straight in the back, and it wasn't a love tap... He threw the guy down. Then of course you had the "catch" that was certainly not a catch.
If those stupid Packer DB's had any sense at all they would know to KNOCK THE BALL DOWN and not try and make the interception.

You know, that's a great question. I assume they are college refs, but I guess those guys are working games Saturdays. So I'm not sure where these guys come from. My best guess is they signed a short term contract with all the cities local Flag football leagues.

Yep. The possession call, in my opinion was correct going by the rule book. Basically a tie goes to the runner deal. If the receiver gets both hands on the ball before either player is down he gets credit for the catch. They need to clarify that rule so the FIRST player to gain possession gets credit for the catch unless he loses control before being called down.

It wasn't a tie. The interception occurred first with the reciever putting his hands in after the interception had occurred.

Yeah but UNTIL the person catching the ball has made a clear possession with control it's anyone's ball. In this case the guy was still putting the ball away as the Seattle player grabbed for it. Here's a nice slow mo. It looks like the Sleazattle player has his left hand between the ball and the defender's body the whole time.

The defender clearly has possession with the receiver having one hand inside him and wrapping his other hand around the defenders body to touch the ball. Even Chris carter agreed that was an interception by rule due to body positioning at the time of possession by the defender and hitting the ground. The defender had pulled the ball into his body.

The offensive player had a hand between the defenders arms the whole time. Before either player hits the ground the offensive player has a second hand on the ball. By rule the refs made the right call. Either way that call went it was going to be controversial. It's a judgement call. Would the regular refs had let the blatant pass interference affect their judgement? Probably.

refs were from junior college, division 2, and big 10 I believe. This doesnt matter what we need is the real ones back. It makes me sick to watch the games. NFL has to do something.
