Ok. Some have been released by the male and others are still in his mouth. I know for a fact that the ones that are in his mouth are alive because I can see the babies when he opens his mouth a little. I will continue to keep you updated as we go!
P.S. I put the babies and the father in a Two gal Kids eclipse. They seem to be doing ok there.

You may want to get a brine shrimp hatchery. It takes only a night to hatch and you can add vitamins to add nutrition. It will provide small food for the fry to eat.

OK. Let see if they make it. I will keep you updated! ...and yes, I did set up a hatchery. However, it's taking two days for the eggs to hatch. How do I add vitamins? Do they sell them? Where can I get them? Please let me know.
Thanks!
I noticed that they are eating. (Great thing!)

you might try cyclop-eeze for them. you could enrich your brine by soaking them in selcon orZoecon or something like that.

yah, 10 bucks for a little bottle, but I dont think you need much. says it treats 6000 gal. A few drops in your bbs would be all you need.
The babies are so cute.

if i rmeember correctly bangaiu's are growing on the train of extinciton. so breeeding them may be a realyl good idea. Sell there babies to people, and then those peple odn;t ave to go buy wild caught. i don't know anything about them, but good luck!!

Wow, these babies are so cool, congrats on the amazing/accidental breeding.
Makes me almost want to get a pair and breed them in a spare tank. How long did you have them before you saw the eggs?

I actually had 6 of them in my tank. I only had them for two maybe three months before I saw the eggs. I had been trying to figure out how to tell the difference btwn the male and females so that I could try to breed them. Then one day the two of them started hanging out and hiding in the corner together. When i looked closer I noticed the eggs. it was a great surprise.
