hey TSX, i got a question for ya..
u had the tank of the month with 4 x 65W PC lighting?
I got a 55G tank, so if I got a 4x65 lighting, will that be enough?
I would like my tank like yours. Softies are fine, as long as there are many varieties of it..
please let me know..
you can also email me at mujtba@2trom.com
thanx:yes:

Hey Calvindo, I was home while all this was happening. Actually I was standing outside in front of my garage door with my g/f recording video through most of it. The wind & rain was coming from kind of behind the house for most of the storm so we could stand there & watch without even getting wet! It wasnt supposed to be that bad at first but by the time the news learned how strong it got in such a short time it was way too late to evac. It went from a cat 2 to a cat 4 in a half hour! From 105mph to 145mph! Then about 15 minutes after they said that the power went out! It was supposed to go more towards tampa, but the eye crossed over Bokeelia about 8 miles from me as the storm moved northward to hit punta gorda full force. We got lucky here though, mostly new homes around me up to latest hurricane codes, punta gorda wasnt so lucky. Thats 20 minutes north of me & my parents live there. I went up there Sunday after & all I can say is the pics on TV & newspaper mean nothing after you've seen it first hand. Ive never seen anything like that in my life & hope to never again. Its really sad to see people standing in front of a big pile of rubble that used to be their home. Its so wide spread too, not just a couple blocks but miles & miles of devastation.

Glad you made it! Did you keep your boat out with tie downs in the ground? With this next one possibly coming, we'll have to leave our boat outside and are planning to tie it down.

Looks like everyone needs to batten down the hatch again. This monster looks just like Charley did. Its really shaping up to be a big one too. Hope it won't do to the SE side of Florida what Charley did to SW side. :nope:
Everyone take care and be safe and leave when they say!! We got caught up in the Charley evacuation and it was not fun and that was leaving early.

JudyK,
I just faced my boat into the wind as best I could. I didnt tie it down although its a good idea, but I figured it wieghs 3500lbs but you never know. After seeing what charley did, I would next time. I did have it jacked up on a 6x6 board under the jack & it did get blown off of it but no damage. Good Luck!
