I have some golf ball size mexican turbo snails
. Last night after lights out i saw a 6"-8" bristleworm that appeared to be trying to get inside the shell with one of them :scared: . Do bristle worms prey on snails :notsure: ?

You're turbo might have fallen over, couldn't right itself, and started to die. The bristle worm probably was then doing its job of cleaning up.

Snail was/is in fine shape and was munching its' way up the side of a rock when the "assault" took place.

Bristleworms do not attack living animals. They have no effective means of offense. Their sting does not come from their "bite". Unless you have caught one trying to BRISTLE someone to death, it was probably just a case of the blind bumping into the blind.

There are several species of Bristleworm that are predators. I don't know of any that prey on snails though.
It's certainly a possibility but unlikely in my opinion. Almost anything can happen in the unnatural environment of an aquarium.
