Bristle worm; Bad or Good????

hey everyone
while i was doing my water change and gravel syphon i found some bristle worms they are peachy orange in color and have white like hairs on their sides -- i have lots of these guys in my tank. i know certain bristles are good but how about this guy if he is bad i will flush him if he is good i will put him back in tank.

Actually, fire worms are good too, you just have to watch out for a particular tye of it, Hermodice Caruncalata...

I've come to believe diversity is a good thing and it is relatively rare that worms of any kind can be a major problem. I'd say keep it until it is proven to be a pest....then take steps to remove it only if absolutely required to do so.I actively encourage as much diversity as possible.:thinking:

The worm pictured is a Fire Worm. I believe it's a good one though. If it were mine I would put it back in the tank.
