Browning Anemone.

my white sebae has developed a tan and brownish color. what could be causing this? hes got plenty of light, is hosted, and fed once a week. my nitrates are 25, and phosphates are at .1, and my next scheduled water change is on Wednesday.

Your white anemone was not healthy. It is getting better. It is replenishing its symbiotic algae called zooxanthellae that are found in the anemone's tissues. These algae are necessary for the long term survival of the sea anemone. This is the reason that anemone require high lighting, to ensure the survival of the zooxanthellae which are photosynthetic.
This is a good thing my friend, keep up the good work!!

Not sure, the pic is from a german site so could not read the entire article. Looks like one that is recovering to me though. Maybe someone else can chime in here.
