I got a BTA yesterday and this all this morning I noticed the Shrimp won't leave it alone. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
Tank: 13G NanoCube

Can't really answer your question, but I'm sure if you gave more info others would be more likely too. Such as tank parameters, how old, lights etc....

My cleaner shrimp hovers around my anemone. I believe the reason for this is that the shrimp is trying to scavenge for food. I would recommend to lure the shrimp away with some food when you are trying to feed the nem.

The shrimp just comes up and punches the Anemone. The shrimp seems rather agressive towards the fish too.
Started the tank in March, it is a 12 Gallon Nano Cube. The Shrimp has been in the tank from the get go. I have two Yellow Fin Damsels and two Ocellaris Clown fish.
Tank has stock lights which are "Half 10K Day-Light/Half 7100K Actinic Blue".
BTA is about the size of a half dollar.

Coral banded shrimp are aggressive....they will eat anything and everything they can get their claws on....and steal food from anywhere also
you may want to rethink it in a 12G....I had one in a 29G until it started picking off the fish...I then put it in the 225G...lol...where something picked it off

+1
I would not place a coral banded in less than 55G, it just makes them more aggressive.

That is why I changed fish stores! Selling me the wrong stuff.
Shouldn't blame the fish store, should do your research prior to a purchase. Remember every fish store out there can only survive by selling things. You as the responsible aquarist must decide how you are going to stock your tank and what chances you are willing to take based on your research.
Just sayin...............

+1 I totally agree I think there are to many out there that don't do their research, and when things go wrong then they come and ask what to do. If they researched they would be better prepared to handle the mishaps that come along and will be able to articulate their problem to others when they need help.

Beeing a newbe, I trust the experts. I would not sell my customers something I don't think they should buy. A 12 gallan tank and $300 worth of fish a month later, I think they saw me coming. My new fish store is not like that. He asks all kinds of questions before selling me something.

Came home last night he had moved himself around the back of the live rock. This morning, he was all closed up like a dried up sun flower. Tongiht I came home and he was face down on the floor of the tank. I guess there is something he doesn't like.

Store tested the water last Saturday and said it was "Perfect"

He does not have the proper lighting he needs to survive. That is way it is exhibiting the behaviors that you are describing. The LFS claims your parameters are perfect? I would not trust that one bit. The best way to know what that your parameters are in line, is to check them yourself. Test strips are very inaccurate and do not trust them. Do yourself a favor and invest in a good test kit. What color is the nem? If it is white, it is bleached.

He is not white, like grayish and hit tips are green when they are small. When they fill up they are a redish maybe. That is a hard color to describe. What lights do I need? I use test strips and have a friend that is in the business and he has checked the water as well. I keep a log of what happens in the tank.

A pic of the nem would be helpful since the color description is vague. T5HO or halide lighting is best for nems.
