Have you noticed any odor? What type of anemone is it?
is it upside down????

I said the same thing yesterday
. It looks like the foot is up. What does the underside look like? Usually if they turn over and don't/can't right themselves the end is near.

Can you see through the bottom of the container? Pick up the container and give it a good smell, sounds gross but the sooner you detect it's demise the better off your tank will be.

Here is the foot. Looks better than I expected... I also took out the bowl and drained it so water was maybe 1/2 in covering it and gave it a good smell and nodda no smell at all.

Well, that is cleared up. The foot looks good. Your last photo was the clearest yet, a clearer photo of the top side would help. Do you have a close up setting? As close as you can get and still be clear would be fantastic.
Maybe out of the tank w/flash, the blue tint of your lights make it strange.

Just got of work and still have the same results. I was pulling out the bowl and it floated into my tank so I used my hand to get it back into the bowl and gave it a smell and still no odor at all. The wait continues... should i put a small piece of LR in with it maybe to give it a chance to attach?

NAH.....Just leave it.....I hate to say it....probably won't have a good outcome, BUT...you have to try...

Compare your bta with the dying rose in the link I gave you yesterday. In this clear photo it appears your anemone's insides are comming out it's gaping mouth. This is very very bad. I don't think you should trust it overnight. Would hate to have you loose any fish or corals if it begins to decompose while you are sleeping. This is sad and I am sorry. Now you have to make the call.

Of course it's going to float away...it's drawn up and still scared. Get rid of the bowl now, and put it down in the tank. Wedge it between some rocks (don't worry about hurting him).

First, I am not so sure its a BTA.. Looks more like an H.mag but very hard to tell from the pics. If that is the case, it will surely die in that container (will likelyy die anyway. if it is an H.mag it will want as much current as it can have so it can do its own internal water change. It will also want as much point source lighting as it can have. If it is an H.mag, a 250 watt halide would be nice/needed.

You need to flip it over. Be gentle when doing so. It looks like the foot is up in the air and the mouth is facing down. You need to see what kind of shape the mouth is in. If it is wide and gaping, it's on its way out. If the mouth is closed and tight, then it will probably live.

I isolated it into a corner with LR with good flow and and watched it most of last night but come around 11pm it was starting to come apart so I pulled it out. Thanks for all the advice and help. Those of you that thought it was upside down i posted an earlier pic of the foot. The mouth was gapping well over an inch since I pulled it out of the bag. Most of the order was so cold when I got it out of the box that I lost the almost the entire order all except a hammer coral and 10 out of 20 snails... so I will email SWF and let them know and try again next time I order

You do realize it's upside down in this picture right?

Actually in the picture you quoted from, it is not upside down. That is its severely gaping mouth. There is a pic a few post sbove that show it upside down.
