I bought a BTA today. I temp acclimated for 45-60 min and then released into the aquarium. All I did was set it on the sand bed and left it alone..Is this the right way to do it or should I be helping it get planted?? Thank you.

Right now I run my lights about 9 hours a day. I only had fish up until this point. I have the Nova Extreme Pro lighting. Should I start running my lights more like 12 hours for the anemone?

Sorry..I don't want to hi-jack this thread but...is it necessary to QT corals and anemones? I know you didn't but could you have if you wanted to?

BTA's are usually live rock planters so if I helped it any I might set it on the rock. It is going to move where it wants to be either way.

Im new to the saltwater hobby but make sure there is enough room between your BTA and other corals. I know that for sure.

Only if you want to. The light intensity is far more important than the duration of the lighting period.
