Hey,
I really want to get a BTA, but im concerned that my tank isnt large enough. I have a 10 gallon with 80 watts of T5 lighting. Does anyone know if a BTA would be ok in this system?

I would say no on the size of the tank. That is really pushing it. There will probably be too many water fluctuations in salinity and waste for you to be successful. I have one in my 29 gallon and feel like I am pushing it a little size-wise. On the lighting you would probably be overdoing it. You could do some beautiful corals though. Probably SPS even.

i think it would be ok. i dont really look at tank size.
go for it, experiment. gain some experience thats what this hobby is all about.

A BTA with the correct lighting and tank parameters will quickly outgrow a 10 gallon tank IMO.

The difference between SPS corals and an anemone is that you can frag the corals as they get bigger to downsize and make some money....you can't really frag an anemone so you have this animal that won't have enough room trying to stretch out in your aquarium. It would be a pretty tight fit. My BTA has almost doubled in size in 2 months so I would really advise you that you should not do it.
