Bubble Algae?

looks like big bad bubble algea to me. get some emerald crabs befor it gets anyworse.and what ever you do...dont pop them

i have a few emrald crabs that i got in a reef package, how many can i have? i have a 120 g tank. i have great water quality including use of r/o DI water.
SG. 1.025
ammonia: 0
Nitrate: 0
Nitrite: 0
Calcium: 450
KH: 9
PH: 8.8
100 lbs live rock
2- 250w 14,000k MH
4-t8 HO blues
running a skimmer and fx5 filter that i clean every few days.

Do you have any fish in this tank? That is a lot of Bubble for a coupld of emeralds....I had received some rock covered with it....I put the rock with the algae in a seperate tank (a tote will work too) scrub off what you can in a bucket of old saltwater, rinse the rock and place in this dedicated tote....then add a few emeralds and DO NOT feed them
The problem with trying to rid it in a populated tank is..you have to feed your fish....therefore the emeralds are not starving for bubble algae

Okay. I was curious as to whether nutrients were entering your system from your water source. Thats an issue I have, as I don't use RO/DI water (yet).
How long has the tank been set up?
