i am trying to rember from when i set up my first tank but i can't (old age is kicking in )
am i right in saying that as time goes on and u build up a slime alge coating on the plumbing and tank walls the amount of tiny micro air bubbles in the tank will lessen ?

I don't know but it doesn't sound right to me.
Microbubbles are commonly caused by a pinprick air leak between the sump and the return pump, or restricting the input to the return pump causing cavitation.

that' is what i read but since i have redone the fittings twice, i thought perhaps something else, there is alot of bubbles coming into the sump from the drains dumping 2100 GPH in there i put a filter between the 2 sides and also put prefilters on the pump intake screens that seemed to help a little but def don't want to have to leave them on
