OK, these things are about the size of a small ant. They are transparent, they look like they are a jellyfish folded in half, with a split-V tail. They really only crawl around on the glass while it is dark. What are these things? Are they bad?

sounds like you are describing some sort of pod. I cant give you an exact species, since i dont have a pic but definately sounds like what you are describing.

Sounds to me like a flatworm. I have these things in my sump...they are cool to look at, but a lot of people don't like them and use "flatworm exit" to kill them. I think it is because they are pod predators, but you'll have to ask Bang to be sure.

They are pod munchers. The "cape" is used to trap them. I don't believe they eat enough to make a difference.
