Honestly...they really are safe unless you happen to be a small worm, etc. Again, we simply like to point out that bumbles aren't what peeps say they are.
Get your kid a couple and you'll be a hero and your tank will never know.
I have 6 bumble bee snails in my 75 gal. If they see a snail turned over on it's back, it will eat it. Here is my picture of them ganging up on an astrea snail that found itself upside down. But they don't mess with the coral or the snails unless they are upside down. i love the bumble bee snails

Which is why I always suggest Trochus snails over Astrea snails. Trochus can usually flip themselves back over.
