Its a toss up between these two weapons. Any one have any input ? i know there are a few enthusiasts here.
I am also considering buying the lower and upper separately and building my own if the price is right,Maybe save a few bucks and purchase a aimpoint sight.

Would you mind disclosing where you purchased it? Im leaning towards Colt and the few extra buck just because of the name .And what model do you have?

I definitely will. Ive been looking at discount dealers online.I have a FFL owner that lives down the street from me so it will only cost me a additional $20 to have one shipped.

There are Colt lovers out there and there are Colt haters out there. I just happened to be one of the haters. I've owned Colt, Bushmaster, and StagArms. The highest quality rifle was from Stag Arms. I now own two. The 2nd being the Varminter. 24" stainless barrell, 2 stage match trigger. Much better rifle for the money. Is guaranteed to shoot 1/2 MOA and it has a lifetime warranty. Something you may want to look into.

I like the sound of 1/2MOA guarantee,But i don't think the lifetime warranty will mean squat if Obama makes the AWB permanent like he wants to.

I have both the Colt and the Bushmaster. Actually two bushmasters. One 16" (14.5 barrel w/ 1.5 break). I bought the second Bushmaster the day of election because of the Obama crisis. I just bought 20 30rd mags today. Prices have definantly wen't up since Nov 3rd. Capitalism at its best. I have also built my own AR15 from the ground up using:
Stag arms lower
JP Single stage trigger/speed hammer 4lb with KNS anti rotational pins
G27 Grip
A1 buttstock with MGI rate reducing buffer and +10% Wolf spring
Magpul winter trigger gaurd
YHM flip up front and rear sights
RRA parts kit for the rest
Oh, and I just bought an Armalite AR50 baby

If Obama/Biden reenact the awb, there will be no sunset clause causing it to lapse in ten years. Durring the Clinton admin they had to have two items they listed to deem them "assualt weapons." Manufacturers removed the threaded portion of barrels, flash suppressors, or breaks. I love when they say in the bill something to the effect of, "these guns have plastic portions over the barrel so the shooters hand does not get burnt from the barrel durring mass killings." You got to be kidding me. I will stop now before I go off the deep end. There is too much political BS right now in this forum as it is. I will say this, and this is MY OPINION, the Dems may ban, but they can not knock at our door and demand we hand the weapons we already own, over. I for one will pull the firing pins from my weapons and deem them as show pieces
