Ill tell you what, the calamari that we serve where I work is awesome. I have tried it at every restaurant I have been to since I started working there and have never found any that compares. The only place that was close was in Daytona. the restaurant turns into a nightclub after dark.

Ok fried is great but now try Sicilian Calamari
Calamari Ripieni Stuffed Calimari Squid
·6 Medium Calamari Squid(1 ½- 1 ¾ lb) ·Fine Dry Breadcrumbs ·1 Clove Garlic ·Fresh Parsley ·¼ lb. of Sicilian Toma (or other low-fat cow's milk cheese) ·Fresh Oregano & Rosemary ·Sicilian Olive Oil ·Sicilian Sea Salt 1.Clean the squid thoroughly. Mince the heads and tentacles. Toast 1 cup of breadcrumbs in a little olive oil until moist; add the mixture & cook 2 minutes. 2.Remove from heat and mix in the garlic, mince with 1/4 cup parsley; add salt & pepper to taste. Mix in the diced cheese. 3.Stuff the squid with this mixture. "Pin" the tops closed with toothpicks. Place in a lightly greased baking pan and bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Baste with a sprig of rosemary dipped in olive oil seasoned with salt & pepper. ENJOY!

Nice! I used to go to this Greek place that would take the whole squid hood, which were usually around 6 inches long and stuff them with a mixture of chopped squid, shrimp and scallops and then grill and serve with a lemon butter. They were just fantastic!
