Pure Calcium chloride is an excellent Calcium additive. It needs to be pure though so I wouldn't trust something that says "Plus" on it.
Were you going to use Baking Soda for your Carbonate additive?

Not untill i run out of my sea chem powder. Baking soda is next on the list. The HTH was supposed to be a link, but i am still trying to get used to using this forum. It is pure calcium chloride granules. i read that one person on the forum is using the same thing i just wanted a few more opinions. Please do not post links to other sites
And i think 9 pounds would last quite a while.
