what kind of snails are good for cleaning crew and what do they look like.

In my opinion the BEST snails are the trochus snails that they sell on this website. They are a little on the large size but you only need a few compared to other snails and they will mow down any algea you throw at them.

my lfs called it a moon snail. my wife calls it scary bloody snail. its whole body is blood red.

That's a Horse Conch. It's not near the Xenia... the Xenia attached to it and it's just hanging there.

Why are Horse Conch Snails considered bad? I think i may have one - If you could please tell me what you think I would appreciate it!? Thanks!

I couldn't see the pic. Basically Horse Conch can and will eat anything they can catch, snails, worms, coral, Yugos, etc...
