Sure you can, but...as the ends get worn, you will want to trim them to keep them tight...so keep that in mind before you do cut it
+1 Also, the ends of the plastic hose get stiff and after a long time in the water won't fit the air bleed valve and the venturi input on your seaclone so keeping the hose a bit longer may be a good thing. then again, that hose is pretty cheap so you could just plan on replacing it regularly if you really want a shorter hose.
P.S. How's that Seaclone working for ya? I have had one for years on my 55 and it's been pretty good, except for having to silicone the connecting joints after the o-rings shrunk a little and caused a leak.
