Can my tank support an anemone?

I have a 125g FOWLR. My lighting is 4 48" VHO. I have 2 Koralia #4's for water movement. What do I need to support a BTA? I had 1 in the past but it died but I know now that I had all the wrong stuff? What else do I need? Thanks

A tank no younger than 6 months at least...anemones are over rated..they get caught in power heads, eat prize fish, wiggle into a corner of the tank where it will NOT look the best, and it is a BIG maybe if a clown will host it at best.
A nice elegance coral will look just as cool, you can put it where you want it to live, it won't get wrapped up in a power head, the clowns don't care and it won’t eat the fish or sting them to death.
At the moment I have a Sabre anemone and I wish I had gotten the elegance instead. The clowns continue to host the intake and output pipes of my filter, while I move all the coral out of the anemones way so they won’t get stung.

Aren't coral hard to take care of? I want something else that adds color and life to my tank.

I'm so sorry..I projected my problems with anemones to you...I didn't notice the FOWLR.
A new tank (under 6 months to a year) bounces around allot in water quality. A new tank is still evolving, and the anemones can’t handle that. There are some hardy rock anemones you might try, and feather dusters look allot like coral flowing in the water. Sea plants like the maiden hair and Mermaid tail fans look really cool too and fish don’t eat them I don’t think
.

Don't be sorry. I just wanted some advice and you gave it. I just am looking into lively up my live rock. I am not doing anything till i get my 75# base rock into my rock and established. Then I am buying a CUC package and going to see what the tank looks like after that point. Just wanted some opinions and I value your opinion.

I have to go start getting ready for work…but if you are just setting up..Look into corals, they are not hard to keep at all, if I can do it and the kids on this site can do it..so can you!
. It will change the type of fish you can keep, but it’s still basically the same water tests, if your fish are happy your coral will be happy…You have to keep nitrates down to have a CUC anyway.
Nothing beats the beauty of a reef. If you go for non-photosynthetic corals you don’t even need fancy lighting…You were talking anemone so fancy lighting may not even be an issue for you. If you are already thinking of color, you are a reefer deep down.
