can someone ID this

it is the purple and pink color thing in front of the candy corals i is hard that is about all i can say if there is something that would help just ask and i will anser the best i can

Looks like Plating Coralline Algae.

bang it is growing off a steam i have plating coraloline algae and they look not a thing a like.

There are a few other types of plating/encrusting algaes...very possible that the ID is on the right track. Looks like much smaller sections I've seen of coraline built up. One of my power heads had a very similiar growth.
Its possible that its montipora of some sort...but looks like coraline to me.:thinking:
