So I woke up this morning and I went to check the tank that I was mixing water in, and I found that there was pink stuff on the walls. I'm pretty sure it isn't coraline, I'd really like it to be though...since I don't have any in my DT yet.
The tank I use to mix water was a sump, and the pink stuff is growing on the old silicone (probably because algae and stuff like that grows faster on plastic?). The other piece of information that may be important here is that I got an order of crabs and snails that I kept in this tank for a few days. I don't have any of this pink in the DT...yet. ALL OF THIS PINK STUFF APPEARED OVERNIGHT.
Any ideas? I would post a picture of it, but I'm not really sure how.
