I have a seabe anemone and an open green brain coral, can these to touch without causing harm to each other? The anemone just moved right next to the brain so its neighboring it and I'm scared to try and move the anemone cause I really don't want to rip his foot. Feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

if the nem stays there, it will definitely kill the brain. my RBTA once decided to move from the top to the bottom then to the side then back to the bottom of its rock and in the process sat its right side on my brain coral for half a day and it took some heavy damage. It recovered after about a week though.. I'm convinced brain corals are uber hardy lol. I have since moved the rock the brain was on about 6" to the right so it doesn't happen again. (my tank is a 29 gallon). Aren't sabae's a stronger stining species too? *shrug*
That away my brain coral was on the first peice of LR I added to the tank pre-cycle it was the size of a dime. 5 months later it is the size of a silver dollar and still kickin even after the nem laying on it lol

Soory to hear that, I had the same prob in my 20gal reef. I had to give away my anemone because grew to be half the size of the tank and was sting all the corals.

anemone will win over the brain coral. most people who get anemones need to understand that anemones can double or triple in size within 6-9 months easy.
