That would be horrible. I can picture me yelling at the kids to get buckets! I would probably trying to hold the rocks in place and min. damage to tank.

Oh yea, the house, oops f

I went through he 89 earthquake in San Francisco and the last thing I would have worried about is my fish tank. If you do not survive what is the point? You should never be running through your house like that, that is pure crazy IMO. That was crazy video footage though.

I was in the 89 quake as well (it was the day before my 19th birthday) I lived in Marin and because they shut down the Golden Gate (because of the Bay Bridge collapse) I was stuck in the city for 2 days. We wound up going down to the Marina to help out where we could... oh, and wound up hanging out at the bar on the wharf by the cable car turn around.
Memorable to say the least

I was 17 and moved down there exactly 1 week before it hit. I was walking down Haight St., right by Masonic when it hit. I wonder if we ever met down there. Wouldn't that be funny.

I would not doubt it! I lived at Rockin' Rollins and the McDonald's on Haight. Hmmmm....

I worked at Double Rainbow for a bit, went to the Ibeam, Murios, The Nightbreak, and Fullmoon Salon.
 
Mexican Restaurant we used to go to at Embarcadero One. Incredible margaritas. This was right before we would head over to Broadway and catch a band at The Stone... wow, dating myself now. Hairbands...Motley Crue... oh, the humanity.

Never ate there but went to many shows at The Stone. I even saw King Diamond there for free. my friends band opened for him. It was a riot.
