I got a candycane coral yesterday and my ? Is how do I get it to stay on the rock? I thought I wedged him in but this morning it had fell down to sand. Is there a trick?

I use the regular old super glue GEL. I get a 3 pack from the dollar store and it lasts me a long time. Don't waste your money on "Coral Glue" from your LFS, no need.

Do they like low or high light? Mines up top of my tank.
I fed it a bit of Mysis and it seemed to like them. My GF said she saw sweepers come out in the dark just before she turned the lights on in the morn. Unfortunatly I did not get to see them. Does that mean that it wants food?

They usually put their tentacles out during the night like most coral. You can get them to come out during the day if you feed a small amount and then come back in a few minutes to finish feeding.
They're not as light-needy as most coral. Although, there are a few different types of candycanes and I'm not positive that all can be considered "low-light". There are this really neon green colored candycanes and I'm not sure at all what got them so dang neon...but I'd suspect that a lot of light did it.

Ok how do glue them with superglue? Pull it out of water put the glue on the candycane wait a minute or so then put back in water and attach to rock......
I was worried about putting it in the sand and ir getting enough light. I have a 54 gal corner tank and it is deep 21in. I do have a 250w halide on it? It is funny, in the decription on swf it says nothing about feeding.

Well if yours are doing good then it's probably getting enough food elsewhere. Maybe from pods during the night or maybe from your lighting.
Mysis are little shrimp. Fish/coral gobble them up!

Most fish stores, petstores, off and online, carry a selection of frozen foods including mysis, brine, scallops, algaes, etc. You can get multi packs with different foods in them also. Then you can mix it up and see what is liked by your particular critters.
