Canister Filter or Hang On Back Filter????

Na no fuge cause I have a little chunk of some kind of stuff growing in the back of my tank where no coral are growing.
I LOVE IT I LOVE IT!!!!! I can put so much more media in this thing then I ever did with the penguin. I never even knew about these things because I have always been a penguin fan but these are made for more then 1 media and you can pick and choose 4 different types.
It also comes with a control valve and a little hook thing to control how it sits up against your tank. It reminds me of a mini canister filter HA. Now I dont need the bio balls because it has some of that white block stuff in there.
Yea I ran out and got one because the 'store' had then on sale for $40

Yea in my calvus tank I only did carbon and the filter media because I was using the wheel. With the SW I never used the wheel.
I have the octopuss 100 SS with the surface skimmer and I love it.

Yes the octopus is what I use on my SW. I use the 100SS so I think you would need the one smaller.
I have never had any fish diseases with my cichlids. Only with guppies years ago.
