youre kiding right??? look what happened to the all mighty coach of coaches when he wasnt allowed to film the Giants before the Super Bowl last year...
i didnt say that Favre was better... i stated he is ONE of the best QBs ever...
Parcells... i do think he WAS a great coach with the Giants and definately changed the way defense is played and the way people draft... after that i think all that needs to be said is Jets and Cowboys...

Lots of "good" coaches have bowl rings. The point as that if Dungy was an 'elite' coach, and I was trying to prove examples that if he was, he should have won more...

Some put a little too much emphasis on a Super Bowl ring....Marty Schottenhiemer is a fantastic coach that gets dissed for no SB....It's a little ridiculous....Do Whisenhutt or Tomlin go straight to the HOF next week when one wins??

Yeah, great point there, the 16-0 season was such a failure, along with the 11-5 year this year with some QB that didn't start a single game in college.....
Seriously man, your too "sport savey" to be dwelling on the "cheater" thing like this, I would expect it from "Johnny the New York Jet fan pizza delivery guy"....Your better than that....We can have a reasonable argument about Dungy without dwelling on "spygate" anymore.

Schottenhiemer... the great choker??? he is a good coach...
WHAT is the goal EVERY football season??? isnt it to win the SB???
no the two coaches dont directly go, but whichever one wins gets to be mentioned in an elite group of coaches and both are setting a great foundation for there HOF bids!!!

16 - 0 but 2 -1 in the post season... that one loss takes away the magnitude of the 16 wins in the regular season... everytime Billichek is brought up so will cameras/video tape...

Marty has had his share of disappointments in the playoffs, Marty has also never had an elite QB, unless you count Bernie, though I would count Drew Brees as one now. Let me ask you, would you be disappointed if the Bucs were talking to Schottenheimer? 14 playoff appearances is pretty damn good.

i would want Dungy back before Martyball!!! Martyball is only good for the regular season... "the gleam" goes away in January... he also was a head coach for 23 seasons... Dungy 14...
