Cardinals Vs. Steelers...

Does anyone besides me think that the superbowl is lame? Seriously, in the playoffs you have all these games, everyone playing a step faster infront of their own fans.
Then you get to the superbowl, and it is just one game, don't even have home team fans. And it is like a who's who convention of the rich and famous.

No
. I can't imagine how else it would work. There are only 16 football games in a season, one game a week, and there's only one championship game, for a reason. The players need rest/conditioning time. And since's it's only one game, no way it could only be at the home at the better record team's home. You put the Superbowl where it's going to draw the most revenue for the NFL. Could you imagine people traveling to Buffalo, or Green Bay, or Minnesota this time of the year? It's the friggin SuperBowl, of course every player is going to play his heart out.

I'm not saying there is a better way. I'm just saying I'm not looking forward to this game as much as I was looking forward to the ravens and steelers. Or the iggles and the Giants. And that is usually the way I feel about these games. I also think that there isn't typically the history between the teams since they aren't in the same leagues playing eachother every year. So they don't play as dirty.
Although, a logistical and corporate nightmare, I'd sooooo be for GB playing a superbowl in Green Bay. Remember the Ice Bowl? IMO there is something about the snow falling the wind howling and it being so cold steam is coming off anything and playing football.

how can you not be excited for a team that has never been in the big game playing against one of the most storied teams in NFL history...

well I could think of quite a few more compelling story lines...
But maybe it is taste. I'd rather see a knock down drag out fight between two teams that hate each others guts than what I typically see.
Don't get me wrong if I was a cards fan i'd be excited. If I'm a pitts fan I'd be excited. But to the other fans out there, I typically am not drawn to a SB like I am to many of the playoff games.

I have a feeling Arizona isn't going to know what hit them. Especially Warner. Incredible Offense and one of the best Defensive lines in the league.
I mean when the defense picks a ball they setup like an offensive line and usually score! Shame the eagles can't learn anything from them but with me being a Colts fan I really don't care either way.
If the Steelers win it, it will be from brute force and a driving one.
If the Cardinals win its from outsmarting the giant coming at them.
I just want to see the commercials!!! WAHOOOOO

At first glance I was amazed that more people didn't pick the Cardinals... But then I realized that two options, (the Cardinals and I just want to see a good game) were actually the same. There is absolutely no such thing as a good game when Pittsburgh wins, therefore I call this poll (at this point atleast tied 20-20). And since half the popultion is always wrong, I declare the Cardinals the winner, so sit back and watch my prediction come true. Ben Rothkcjxbvmbvburger will be sacked 4 times in the first half and will have to leave the game with 1:47 left in the first half. The score at half shall be 13-10 Steeler leading. In the second half Mr. Warner will throw three touchdown passes to Mr. Fitzgerald. There will also be one 42 yard field goal in the forth quarter for Arizona while the Steelers will try one from 37 yards early in the third and it will miss wide left.

Yeah, says the person from PA.
Yeah, Warner has never seen anything like it
Warner has seen it all dude.....If Pitt wins it's because they were the better team, well I retract that because Seattle was clearly better than Pittsburgh and the refs gave Pitt the game.

I'm not getting the overlooking of what warner's done in his career. He's been around the block a few times.
But you mock my conspiracy theory of making the game fairer for everyone else by making bad calls against the cowboys.
