I have no idea but it looks like it is one that is probably going to die. It lost its zooxanthellae and is extremely bleached.

I was told by the LFS that he was bought in, The person who had him before said they had him for 4 years and he's a mertens but I can't find any that are all white with just the tips green. I'm new to anemones so I'm trying to find out more about it.

It's all white because it was kept under insufficient lighting for quite a while. It should be brown with green fluorescent tips.

If it's sticky then it will feed. If you feed it a lot (2 - 3 times a week) it's possible that it will survive until the Zooxanthellae colony grows back. A caution with that much food though, it could reduce the quality of your water.

Will do, Thanks. I do a 20% water change weekly so that shouldn't be a problem.

Technically it could be a White Carpet anemone since they do exist but I have never seen one in real life. Most of the time a white anemone is a bleached anemone.
